2024 Race - Opens October 1st
2024 Entries

Limited to 200 solo entries and 20 pairs.

The Grand Tour of Skiddaw is open to runners aged 18 years or over on race day. There is currently no qualification requirement but due to the nature of the race we advise that runners are experienced marathon and/or ultra distance runners.

Entries are only available online. There are no postal entries available and there will be no on the day entries. You must provide a valid email address for all race correspondence.

All runners will receive a pre race email approximately one week prior to race day with all 'on the day' information. All runners will collect their race number at Registration. Nothing will be posted out.

Entry fee includes tracker hire and marked route map:
Solo - £80
Pair - £140
Note : If you start as a pair and one of you has to stop, the remaining team member must also stop.

You will also be able purchase a camping ticket at £10 per person, per night. You can add this when you register or later.

Refunds and Event Waiver

The below is the EXACT waiver that you will agree to when registering. Please read fully and contact us should you have any questions.

Competitors must read all of the information provided below and on the event website and act accordingly.

I also confirm that if I enter a person other than myself, that I have made them fully aware of the items in this disclaimer as well as the other Terms and Conditions and Refund and Deferral policy and that they too agree to them and have given their approval for me to confirm their understanding and acceptance of them and to sign to this effect on their behalf.

Competitors should not take part in the event if they are knowingly under prepared, have an injury, illness or any other condition which may compromise their own safety and the safety of the support services.

I accept and assume all responsibility for any injury or accident that may befall myself and my supporters while travelling to and from the event, during the event and indeed while on the event premises (including the route and all checkpoints).

All details provided by competitors must be accurate at time of entering. Any changes to personal or medical details must be corrected by logging into their entry account, or contacting the organising team.

Should you need to cancel, we will be happy to offer a 70% refund of the entry fee up until 1 month prior to race day. After this time we regret that we will not be able to provide any refund, transfer or credit either in part or in full, whatever the circumstances of the entrants' non-attendance. The ONLY exception to this will be due to pregnancy or adoption and this is a 100% refund (you still MUST notify us no less than 1 month prior to race day).

There are no transfers or deferrals allowed. No exceptions, no matter how nice you ask.

Competitors must follow the rules and regulations of the event.

The organisers reserve the right to cancel an entry or prevent entry if required to protect the 'good will' of the event.

If the organisers are forced to cancel the event for any reason, a new date will be established and all entries will be carried forward. However, if the organisers are forced to cancel the event for any reason and no alternate date is found, no refunds will be given. The only exception to this is for Covid. If the event has to be cancelled due to Covid and associated UK Government restrictions then all competitors will be offered a refund minus a 10% admin fee.

Competitors should always act in a manner which ensures minimal negative impact upon the event route and the surrounding residents. Any competitor not acting in this manner, during, before or after the event, will be disqualified and their entry fee will not be refunded.
